In my first semester at Santa Fe College, I was accepted in the Honors Program. Allowing me to have a more richer college experience. I was able to take classes with fewer students and more advanced material.

The Honors Program at Santa Fe College opened many doors for me. In my second semester, I received the James Gregg Honors Scholarship. I was also able to get involved in many activities outside and inside the campus. I did various research projects for my classes such as National Institute of Health Funding and Implementing Genetically Modified Mosquitoes in Bolivia. I was also able to represent the Honors Program in the International Student Orientation.

The most outstanding opportunity of the Honors Program is being able to form connections with the professors and receiving a better understanding of every subject. I would like to encourage every Santa Fe student to apply for the Honors Program and to take advantage on everything that it has to offer.
